Exponential Entertainment (https://www.exponentialent.com), creators of Hollywood-themed casual games, announced today the launch of its first mobile game, Movie Pong (http://www.moviepong.me), which is available now on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It is a fast-paced mobile game that challenges friends to see who can identify iconic scenes and popular movie lines with the most speed.
Launching with a vast collection of movies from Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures, Movie Pong features thousands of star-studded scenes and sounds from Hollywood classics including Back to the Future (Universal Pictures), Ghostbusters (Sony Pictures), and Jerry Maguire (Sony Pictures) to current blockbuster hits such as Bridesmaids (Universal Pictures), and This Is 40 (Universal Pictures).
Movie Pong features Hollywood’s hottest movies, cult classic, and movies currently in theaters now, and puts mobile players head-to-head against their friends and movie fans everywhere. Players can choose from nine theme-packs like Pulse-Pounders, Lightning-Fast Lines, Laugh-Out-Loud, Leading Ladies to begin the game challenge with their friends or other movie fans. Each game challenge features a total of five questions that include four sound clips and one video scene from popular movies. To win the round, players race to choose the correct answers faster than their opponent. With a large variety of movie scenes, sound clips, and theme-packs, and more being added weekly, Movie Pong has something for movie fans of all genres and more than enough movie content to keep the fun going.
“If you like movies, you’ll love Movie Pong,” said Dave Long, co-founder and CEO of Exponential Entertainment. “How many times have you quoted classic movie lines with friends or challenged friends to recall characters, actors, or movies? This is a game movie audiences already love to play. We gathered the best scenes and sounds and put it into a mobile game that makes it easy to challenge friends anywhere, at any time.”

Movie Pong is the first movie-themed mobile game from Exponential Entertainment, but not the first time Mr. Long has combined an innovative gaming concept with the best of Hollywood entertainment. Mr. Long has a long track record of bringing entertainment studios ranging from Warner Bros., Universal, and EMI, as well as entertainment properties such as the NBA and NFL together on collaborative projects, and connecting their fans through interactive gaming experiences. With Movie Pong, Exponential Entertainment has already teamed up with two major entertainment studios, Universal Studios and Sony Pictures, at launch. With others in the pipeline, Exponential Entertainment will continue to expand its portfolio of entertainment studios and content providers, creating an even deeper breadth of rich Hollywood content for movie fans.
